The wedding part 6

- I missed you so much, he said.

- I missed you too. I so wish you were in his place instead!

He shushed her.
- You know that's impossible, he hushed her. He planted a kiss on her forehead.
- I know, I just wish! she nagged sweetly.
Their hug, firmed. They were holding each other as if it was the first and the last time. Every time.

They valued every moment together and they tried to be as normal as they could be and not to meet up only to have sex. They were going to the same gym just to see each other from afar and exchange a typical hi or steal a kiss occasionally in the parking lot if they were in sync.

They couldn't be together. When they met she was engaged and he already had a family. She was not supposed to get married so soon, but the plans changed and here they were now.

They met one day at the library. They reached for the same book. They awkwardly smiled to each other, till they started speaking more about their favorite books. One thing led to another and they went for a coffee in the same building to continue their conversation.

This was one event on its own. They met two weeks later, in the same area of the library. They spoke some more about the books they had borrowed the previous time and they went for one more coffee at the same place.  There was some discreet flirt from both sides, accepted equally. No personal details were announced by his side, but she did mention she was engaged.

They exchanged phone numbers and started immediately texting each other on WhatsApp about the books they both read. They had very similar interests. She liked psychology, he liked management, she liked paranormal, he was into astral projection, she liked botanotherapy, he liked it too. The talks led to another meeting to exchange bought books they had in their possession. So they met and they hit it off real quick. He started speaking about his life, previous girlfriends and trips he had taken, but there was still no mention of children and wife.
