What math and work have taught me

So, I am taking a statistics course as part of my studies. It is mandatory of course, otherwise I wouldn't even imagine of taking it as I am avoiding anything that has to do with math. Simply because I don't understand the logic behind.

However, my friend Stefana is taking her personal time and teaching me all what she can on that topic. She is in the same year as me, but she has passed all the courses, while I did not. Anyways, I feel like some good progress has been made and I would like to recap what all I have learnt, but not in terms of theories and such. More generally, along with my work:

  • I became more organized --> still work in progress, I know I can do better
  • I am more accurate --> as well in progress, because attention to details was not my strong suit.
  • I m becoming independent. I feel this part will never be complete, but I somehow need to pass the course, therefore I signed up for extracurricular training for that reason.
  • I know how to use some formulas - it applies also on excel which is something I truly enjoy (wow, I know). I 'm definitely not an expert in excel, but I 'm also not a beginner.
  • I listen better. This impacts on how much I can sit through a class, meeting or whatever course I am taking at the moment.
  • I study better --> results will show, but this degree ain't taking me only 3 years, that's for sure.
  • I am more determined (to pass the course, to improve in my work etc)
  • I am more confident that I can manage few things.
  • I know how to write math, and this is quite important for statistics as the first step is to understand what's needed to move on.

I feel it is important to know where you come from and what improvements you have done and this is the reason for this post. And noone is going to recognize that for you, you have to do it yourself.
